For a complete installation, a certified installer mounts the home battery in the chosen spot, connects it to a dedicated circuit in the fuse box and configures the controls: when the battery charges, when it discharges and how you follow that in the app. After mounting, the installation is tested and explained at handover.

Including mounting and connection you pay € 3,500 to € 8,000. Where you land in that band mainly depends on the storage capacity (kWh), the brand and the coupling: if you have solar panels, the installer checks whether your current inverter can handle a battery or whether a hybrid or separate battery inverter is needed.

Good to know: we don't sell batteries ourselves. The installer supplies and installs the battery; you compare up to 3 quotes and choose brand, capacity and price yourself. With photos of your fuse box and the intended spot, a quote is quickly made.
